Silverman Law Office and Exchange Club of Helena donated $3,500 to support Katie Verderber and Team USA wheelchair curling at the 2026 Paralympics.

HELENA, MT, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Silverman Law Office and the Exchange Club of Helena have teamed up to help local athlete Katie Verderber and the rest of the U.S. wheelchair curling team navigate the 2026 Paralympic Games.

Their $3,500 donation funded motorized front assist devices for the athletes’ wheelchairs, reducing physical strain and protecting long-term mobility for the team.

Verderber, a U.S. Army veteran and attorney at Silverman Law Office in Helena, is one of five athletes selected to represent Team USA at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

Cheelcare Inc. donated the motorized devices to help the team move around the Games more easily, but additional funds were needed for installation. The Exchange Club of Helena contributed $1,000, and Silverman Law Office matched the remaining $2,500 to meet the $3,500 total.

Verderber is also a member of Helena’s Last Chance Curling Club, which facilitated the donation and raised additional funding for the Helena curler.

The Paralympic Winter Games begin March 6, 2026, and will be televised on NBC and streamed live on Peacock. The public is welcome to attend a watch party hosted by the Last Chance Curling Club from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at Headwaters Crafthouse in Helena.
